 What is micro-suction earwax removal?

Micro-suction earwax removal uses a vacuum to gently remove any excess wax from your ears. It’s one of the most effective services for cleaning your ears and is completed by our qualified practitioners.  

Micro-suction is more effective than common alternative treatments such as ear syringing, which uses a jet of water to try and dislodge wax build ups, or using a probe and a headlight. As well as removing more wax, micro-suction is safer because the procedure is performed under direct vision using both eyes with a microscope which means that there are good depth perception and a clear view of the tip of the suction probe at all times.
